NOTE: While there may be similarities to other patterns, it is to be understood in no way has there been intentional copying of these patterns from another source unless marked as such (credit given). Patterns, ideas, shapes, sizes, colors are all abundant and many are similar to my designs, or mine to another. Patterns and tutorials listed below are either for purchase or free. Keeping in mind "FREE", I am more than happy to assist with explanations or other information; however, I ask that you be polite when writing. All patterns have been tested, though there may be errors that were not caught. If there are errors or something does not download correctly, please contact me: sher@daydreemz.net and I will be happy to help you! I struggle with the idea of paying for patterns when so many are available for free online; however, it takes many hours to design, write out, test and re-test patterns. When this process is finished there are several more hours of typing the pattern for publication. Knight Burgonet Helmet Crochet Pattern
The Burgonet Helmet was, in many ways, the successor to the medieval sallet. Used primarily in the late renaissance of the 16th century, this helmet offered similar protection to the sallet, but was considered to be lighter and easier to wear.
